" You've Got Talent"

1st---6th

An hour of singing, drama and arts, with an emphasis on the talents we have and how we can use them for God. Come , and be ready to enjoy the "creative flair" God produces in you!

  Nursery Ministry
We want a family's Sabbath experience to be as enjoyable and as comfortable as possible, so we offer a Nursery Ministry for infants, birth up to 3 years old (Sundays) (also for some special events)

The Royal Court meets in the hallway by the Celebration Center
each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. *

Your child will experience the stories of the Bible through: Reading the Bible,
Video, Art, Games, Stories, Music, and Cooking.

               SPECIAL EVENTS

During the year, the Education and Children's Ministries Team sponsor various fellowship activities for the children, as well as opportunities to be a part of the spiritual growth of their church family through mission or service projects. These "Specials" include Children's Sabbath, Christmas activities, Vacation Bible School, Camps, etc.. Children are encouraged to invite friends and neighbors along.


        After School Programs

LatchKey Program and Dynamic Ducks
Looking for after school or summer childcare for a child in Kindergarten through 6th grade. To find out more about openings in our Latchkey or Ducks programs contact Amy Burke - between 2-3:00 p.m. @ 532-7153.

PROGRAMS ??

A Month of Sundays - Future Leaders Being Trained @ 1UMC
   Based on the response of the Children's Church during Sept.-Oct. we will continue this program until the end of the year, But we MUST have some committed volunteers for the New Year. This small group of children is such a blessing and so rewarding to work with. They bring joy to your morning that last ALL WEEK! However, our Church requires TWO adults in each time frame (two at 9:00, two at 11:00). There are usually about 2-5 kids in each group and the lessons are planned for you (unless you would like to make your own plans). Sign up for one month of Sundays and get to know the future. Invest in this small but powerful class of everlasting legacy. Contact: Ann Holley, Children's Director. Thanks SOOOOO much!

Safe Sanctuary Training --  If you are an adult and would love to be a part of the children's or youth ministry here at First UMC, you must be Safe Sanctuary certified.   Next Training date:  Watch for future training dates. Questions? For more information call Ann Holley, 532-7153.
